New Energy Capital Fund VI
New Energy Capital Fund VI (NEC Fund VI) primarily invests in debt securities of power generation, energy infrastructure, and other clean energy-related projects. The Fund is managed by New Energy Capital (NEC), a Victory Capital Investment Franchise and leading alternative asset manager, headquartered in New Hampshire. NEC has invested or committed $1.5 billion through more than 40 investments across a broad array of infrastructure projects, including solar, wind, hydroelectric, transmission, energy efficiency, storage, landfill gas, wastewater treatment, and biofuels.
Calvert Impact also invested in NEC’s New Energy Capital Infrastructure Credit Fund II (NECICF II), currently in our portfolio.

Hecate Energy – West Newberry
New Energy Capital’s partner, Hecate Energy, is a developer, owner, and operator of renewable power projects and storage solutions in the US. The company specializes in clean energy and energy storage projects from planning through construction and operation.
Hecate was awarded a Power Purchasing Agreement with Duke Energy’s 2015 Solar PV RFP for the South Carolina Distributed Energy Resource Utility Scale Program. Hecate is leading this solar project in Newberry, South Carolina which is expected to generate 3.3 MW.
